OVERVIEW
Adam Morsy is an associate in the Real Estate and Construction Services Departments, where he represents developers, real estate equity and opportunity funds, real estate investment trusts, investors, owners, tenants, and contractors in all aspects of commercial real estate and construction transactions.
Adam has played a role in representing:
• A national wholesale distributor of food products in its zoning review for development of a distribution warehouse in Northern New Jersey
• A real estate investment trust in its due diligence review for development of multiple mixed retail and entertainment establishments across the United States
• Various landlords in multiple retail, restaurant, and entertainment lease transactions
• Lenders, purchasers, sellers and owners of land, office buildings, and mixed use projects in all stages of acquisition, sale and refinance
Adam earned his B.A. in international studies from The College of New Jersey and his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law. While in law school, Adam worked as a judicial intern in the chambers of Judge Siobhan A. Teare in the New Jersey Superior Court, Essex Vicinage. Adam also served on the Rutgers chapter of the International Refugee Assistance Project, representing an Afghan Special Immigrant Visa application for asylum. Adam was honored as the Charles J. Walsh Scholar, as well as a John J. Barry Memorial Scholar by the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey. Adam served as the President of the Muslim Law Students Association and co-captained the Rutgers Jessup International Moot Court Competition team. Adam also worked as a teaching fellow in the Minority Student Program.
