Eric Reisman, a member in the Real Estate Department, counsels privately held companies, investors, developers, joint venture partners, management companies, and owners and tenants in various aspects of real estate transactions. His practice focuses on commercial leasing (including retail, office, warehouse and restaurant spaces), acquisitions and dispositions of retail, industrial, office and multi-family residential properties, title examination and resolution, and finance. Eric has experience working with developers and contractors from project conception through completion and often negotiates with contracting parties and governmental entities to resolve conflicts to prevent delays and avoid litigation.

Understanding each client’s business completely -- from top to bottom -- is important to Eric. This allows him to offer proactive counsel, anticipate potential hurdles before they occur, and then craft creative solutions to ensure each client’s continued success.

Eric earned his B.A. from Emory University and J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. While in law school, he was awarded a Public Interest Fellowship from the Center for Ethics and Public Service, working for the Dade County Bar Association’s Legal Aid Society. Eric was also a member of the University of Miami School of Law’s Street Law Clinic during his second and third years of law school and was awarded the Peter R. Palermo Street Law Fellowship in recognition of his performance.
