Samantha has played an active role as a member of the deal team in the following matters:

• Corporate representation of Savanna Real Estate Fund in connection with $126 million mortgage and mezzanine financing made by Barclays Bank for the acquisition and development of office tower located in Midtown Manhattan
• Corporate representation of Savanna Real Estate Fund in connection with $71 million senior and mezzanine financing for the construction and development of two contiguous office buildings with retail component, located on the lower West Side of Manhattan
• Corporate representation of real estate client in connection with a complex $330 million credit facility, comprised of mortgage and mezzanine facilities, involving the refinancing of a portfolio of 49 assets across 17 states
• Corporate representation of Cove Property Group, in association with an institutional partner, on a $479 million senior and mezzanine construction financing from Apollo Global Management in connection with the redevelopment of the “Hudson Commons” property located in Manhattan
• Delos Capital’s majority investment in US Fitness and follow-on syndication of a portion of its equity interest to HRS Management
• Merger of B. Riley Financial and GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group LLC
• Corporate representation of real estate client in its $17 million acquisition and financing of a 2.73 acre, Opportunity Zone Program eligible site in Jersey City, NJ
• Representing investors with respect to a private placement of capital for investment in the acquisition of interests in cannabis companies
• Represented one of the nation’s largest independent public accounting and advisory services firms in its acquisition of one of the largest regional accounting firms in Washington D.C.
• Corporate representation of Mcsam Hotel Group in connection with $38 million in construction, project and mezzanine leasehold financing obtained from Madison Realty Capital with respect to the development of a 320-key Radisson Hotel located in Times Square

Prior to joining Cole Schotz, Samantha was an associate in the Corporate/Securities Practice Group of one of Long Island’s largest regional law firms.

Samantha earned her J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law and her B.A. from Wesleyan University, where she was a four-year starter and Captain of the Wesleyan University Women’s Softball team. Samantha also represented the United States at the 18th World Maccabiah Games in Israel, where she helped the Team USA Women’s Softball earn a gold medal.
