Mr. Cole counsels businesses, business owners, and non-profit organizations regarding corporate governance, duties of directors and officers, and corporate transactions, including insider transactions. He also represents clients in commercial bankruptcy proceedings and litigates business, commercial, corporate and employment disputes, including breach of fiduciary duty, interested director transactions, restrictive covenant, confidential information disputes and other business torts.

Mr. Cole is also an active member of US Sailing, serving as a Certified Judge since 1998, and serving as the chairman of the US Sailing by-laws committee. He is also a member of the Board of Governors of Severn Sailing Association in Annapolis, Maryland.
