Cole Schotz provides comprehensive construction related services for every phase of construction projects, both public and private, throughout the country. Our group is comprised of attorneys with transactional, litigation, environmental and regulatory expertise. They are experienced in the preparation and negotiation of complex construction contracts, advising on requisite insurance coverage, surety and bonding needs, labor laws and union participation, company formation and ownership agreements, zoning, land use and development approvals and providing counseling on contract administration, lien claims, risk management, environmental and OSHA compliance. Our clients come from across the construction industry spectrum and include developers, general contractors, subcontractors, construction managers, trade contractors, contracting agencies, utility contractors, material suppliers, engineers, design professionals and bonding companies in connection with a broad spectrum of construction related disputes.

The group actively participates in legal and construction industry trade organizations, including the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry, the Associated General Contractors of America and the American Institute of Architects. Our attorneys are regularly featured in legal, industry and trade publications and seminars to discuss topics pertinent to individuals operating in the construction industry.
